Old rubis hue turning to brownish, the nose nevertheless indicates a much younger wine than the colour. Distinctive note of cherry, forest strawberry and wild blackberry buried under a layer of wet leave, mushroom, tobacco and tar. Medium long finish and quite complex after taste for a wine turning soon 54 years old.

Pale citrus hue with abundant bubbles but the bubbles magically have dissolved in the champagne when the wine caresses your palate as if only a few bubbles remained to just tease your taste buds. Freshness and creaminess dominate this young champagne making you guess the crispiness of toast and brioche, combined with the softness of lemon tart and curd. A very promising champagne to keep for another 10 years a least.

Golden robe with thin strings of tiny bubbles, the nose is surprisingly mature with aromas of marzipan, creme brulee and roasted almonds. The feel in the mouth is even deeper, expanding taste of toffee, caramel mou, roasted coffee, nuts and confit citron. The texture is reminiscent of vanilla cream or caramel flan. Ready to drink now.
