Poured to remove sediment and back into the open bottle for about an hour. Dark crimson, nose of cherries, currants, spice and earth. Tanins are there but in check. Dark cherries, earthy, spicy notes on the pallet. Paired nicely with roasted filet. Drink now. 91+

boozy and oaky. my least favorite bedrock wine up to this point. Decanted for about an hour and initially this smelled of rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover. Couldn't get passed that so I recorked and left for the next day....day 2 dont get as much of the acetone on the nose but still dominated by oak. not my style.
