Still fruity, but now organic earthy undertones have become more prominent. Lots of sous bois and portabella mushroom. Tannins aren't grippy, arguably tired but still add a livliness to this motherjammer.

Sweet, obviously, but lacking the acidity I would've expected to balance it.
Ate with bacon-wrapped scallops, risotto, and red curry green beans.

Tasty but oddly without acidity or tannin. Unfamiliar with the producer. Not sure if this is on the decline or not.
Faint cherries, lots of iron/minerality... Could've mistaken this for a new-world aged pinot noir.
