Super value for mint. It would like to be a supertoscan but isn’t- however after some oxygen and time it taste like one. Great fruit and hits the top right now. Classic plum, and dark berries. Maybe not blackberries as a BX, but the tannins where very mild. Perfect for sipping on its own or with Italian food or a steak. Nose was ok, but not one where you could sit all night without drinking - but it’s a ~$15 wine, so you can’t expect anymore. Buy one it you find it - maybe in a 2012 or 2013 vintage

Really enjoyable and value for money. Some tannins so could use a year or 3 in the cellar for my taste but would probably be great for many others. Found the tannins slightly up-front with some baked tomatoes, dark berries and maybe some plum as well as herbs. Beautiful stuff!

Not really my style. Elegant but too much dried tomatoes on the palate. Lacked some berries or fruit. But tasted it as “meditation wine” and would probably be better with some lasagna or pizza or other tomato-based meal.
Just before and after I enjoyed 2010 Ziggurat Lunelli and actually enjoyed that more even though it’s cheaper. More fruit (probably because of merlot blend) as well as 2012 Rampolla Chianti where the tomatoes where better balanced with fruits and some tannins.
