This was our fifth time trying the Cliff Lede Cab (different vintages), and although it was certainly not bad, it was not as good as the previous four vintages, in my opinion. Yes, it was smooth and soft, but just TOO smooth and soft for our liking. It did not "stand up" well to the prime rib, and I think it would have almost disappeared with a grilled steak.
I think this might be better suited as an accompaniment to cheese and/or hors d'oevres.

You seem to dislike the style, so you shouldn't drink it. Personally, I dislike the white Burgundian style, so I avoid it. Seems simple. Another dead giveaway: you're the only person reviewing this wine with such an outrageously low score.....so if everyone else (many people) is scoring the wine an average of 90 and yuou're the only one at 73, what does that tell you? Again, you should avoid this style of wine and not score it.
