This was super tight when we first opened it. Decanted about an hour before dinner, and was still tasting pretty thin by the time we were ready to eat. By about halfway through the dinner it was starting to open up a little bit, and by the end it had developed some nice body and structure. So I guess what I'm saying is open and decant at least two hours before you plan to drink.

Drank September 2020, and it was phenomenal. Against all odds, this seems to really have benefitted from being laid down, and honestly tasted like it would taken even more age. Nice representation of the Anderson Valley in my opinion. Opened about 90 minutes prior to drinking but didn't decant.

This probably didn't start life as a super elegant wine, but it has aged really nicely. Brick red in the glass, it has a hint of cedar on the nose. On the palate there are notes of red fruit, spice, and tobacco, with firm, fine grain tannins around the edges. If you're still hanging onto a bottle of this, now is the time to drink.
