Friday night in November. Paired this wine with a Rabbit (first Rabbit of the 2021 hunting season with the help of a beagle named Zoey) De-boned stuffed saddle, rabbit meatballs and de-boned rabbit legs all served with dijon mustard sauce. The wine was really fantastic. Much more so than my previous trial as previously noted. Loved it. We just commented that at this price point for a Grand Cru we should buy a couple more cases.

I shared this 6 Liter at a dinner party with 20 friends. It was very good and enjoyed by everyone. If given the chance to do it again, I would buy it again and share it again. NR

Opened at Thanksgiving Brunch. This wine was not pleasant. Very "hot" too much alcohol. 5 tasters all agreed it was not very good. So i decanted for 3 hours, then it opened up and became drinkable. Maybe too much muscle for a Pinot. I have more in the cellar so we will test again in the future. Bottle has been stored in a temp and humidity controlled cellar since purchased from Bevan. Cork was in good shape.
