Drinking my second to last bottle (of 12), motivated in part by CT’s guidance that the drinking window ends in 2020. This is still drinking beautifully!!! It’s very likely going to last beyond 2020 but why wait — its excellent — and won’t get any better than this.

Very interesting and intriguing nose that comes across a bit rough on the palate. Still very good but probably needs a couple years to be at its best. I have a couple more and will wait for 2017+ before trying again.

Decanted for an hour. Very tight and the nose improved some over that hour. It opened up a bit more while we drank it over the subsequent hour but it was still muted and frankly disappointing. Have a few more and will wait a couple more years but am concerned they may not evolve enough to make me happy with this purchase. Don't want to work this hard to enjoy a $100 wine.

I saw your review about Foxen 2007 Pinot Noir.
Where did u taste it or buy it? I am really keen on trying, but can't find it anywhere.
Would appreciate your response
