Magnum PnP. Pleasant enough nose with expected rhone funk/spice/pepper, but very muted palate. Smooth and silky mouthfeel, but not much to offer here otherwise. Opens up a bit more with time and air. Drink 2 years ago as other reviews said. Unfortunate for a magnum of this style, any 750s are likely well past at this point.

Just a very different, interesting, and enjoyable pinot noir. Exudes all of the expected terroir of Willamette. I laid this down over a decade ago and PnP’d without food. It has only benefited from the aging and was such an enjoyable experience.

Peaked here and now. PnP. As good as most any right bank Bordeaux I’ve had. Succulently seductive tannins with that austerity that makes for a perfect beef compliment. All framed by the classic dark fruit bramble berry and mocha notes. We had it with filet au poive and it was fantastic.
