This was a spectacular magnum. In a perfect drinking window. Was decanted but epic from the get go faded after 1 and half hours.
Nose - cherry cedar oak and spice.
Palate - vulumptous supple defined and hedonistic. A cherry bomb with a huge amount of tobacco leather and oak.
This wine was incredible At the qpr a true bargain. Could not have been better. In perfect drinking window will hold for 2-4 years but doubt it will improve.

Palate - supple quite well integrated tannins. Good tension between earth and fruit notes. Raspberry and dominant black fruits on the back palate. Notes of leather and smokiness are lingering. Definite new world cab.
Could definitely be cellared for a few more years. Has a solid amount of unresolved tannin. Very good qpr. 90 atm 91+ with more cellaring.

Decanted for 1 hour.
No formal notes taken.
The balance of the wine was extraordinarily between primary tertiary and tannin.
There is no wine with a better qpr than this. Went and bought a case immediately.
