Text book Crozes-Hermitage. Intriguing smell of forest berries, black pepper and herbs. Tastes of black berries, black pepper with a hint of licorice and a well integrate pine needle like bitterness. Balanced tannins and medium acidity. Medium concentration and length. Delicate and refreshing. Drinking surprisingly well despite its young age and would probably do so for the next 5-7 years.

This is an incredibly delicious Vin Santo that displays a great complexity, benefiting from 5-6 years oak barrel ageing, and requires a fair amount of focus to fully exploit. The nose reveals intense dried fruit aromas of apricots, figs, grapes and caramel accompanied by a seductive smell of vanilla beans and spices. It is very concentrated on the palate with a great complexity of the same dried fruit aromas combined with cinnamon stick, coffee, burned brown sugar and caramel. A medium acidity is balancing out the sweetness. Very long. Goes well with meditation as well as chocolate or creamy desserts.

Intense yellow. Citrus with hints of yeast and spices on the nose. Rich yellow fruits, baked lemon with a fine mousse and medium length.
