Medium ruby color. Med plus aromas of sour cherry, red cherry, prunes, chocolate, vanilla, oregano, sage, nutmeg, plum, blackberry. High acid, med(+) body, high alcohol, grainy high tannins, medium finish. Very structured and fuller in body. Fruits are ripe. Alcohol sticks out a little bid. More red fruited and herby. Will soften and improve over time. 84+

Medium gold color. Med(+) aromas of dried mango, honey, passion fruit, kumquat, lemon, oyster shell, salinity. A bit of peach, vanilla, butter, yogurt and biscuit. Med(-) body, dry, med(+) acidity, med alcohol, med(+) finish. Matured with dried fruits and honey. The wine is balanced but it lacks intensity and tension. Decent but uninspiring especially given the price. Drink now. 83
Day2: more citrus fruits upfront and tertiary notes are somehow much less noticeable. Tastes more like a typical Burgundy stylistically and secondary aromas are better integrated. I drank at much lower serving temperature this time and that might have helped. This makes me think the wine might have more years ahead, but I don’t think it needs time either. 85+

Deep garnet. Pronounced aromas of mushroom, nutmeg, meat, red plum, red cherry, violet, lavender, and a bit of rose petal, green bell pepper & vanilla. Med plus body, high chewy tannins, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, med plus finish. Bigger, darker and savory side of the spectrum. Fruits are just ripe. Oak is prominent and tannins are firm. Would be better after more years. Aroma wise there are tertiary notes developing. Well made but fruits can be more intense and finish can be longer. 89+
