Lorenzo Accomasso is well known as the master in Barolo, and this bottle was just out of this world. Surely a bit young, but already approachable.
The nose is intoxicating with classic Barolo spices perfume, coffee, black pepper and dried flowers. It’s all about finesse, in a very classic Barolo style. Even superior to some top bottles I’ve had from Bruno Giacossa.
The mouth is just as amazing. In the palate the Barolo spices are felt, while the wine is pure delicacy and there’s an incredible backbone of minerality.
This is as good as it gets, and surely a 100 points within the next 5 years. A bucket list wine.

Incredible Selosse style blanc de noirs. Oxidative but very well balanced, quite ready at this stage. The nose is intoxicating with notes of brioche, caramel, peach, lemon zest, and buttery. Very fine bubbles. In the mouth the wine is super layered, with an exceptionally long aftertaste.
I could easily drink a couple by myself. Selosse remains an absolute benchmark of quality in Champagne.

Classic Meursault style, opulent yet incredibly elegant. Very precise and center on the fruit, not reduction, a very pure style that reminds me of Arnoud Ente's wines. Still a bit young of course and lots of aging potential.
Mr Ming takes good care of corks and bottling in order to avoid and prevent premox, really interesting wine and winey, will be in everyone's mouth sooner rather than later.

Tasted on a dinner with Ming Fang in Madrid.
Magnificent wine, only 120 bottles made in 2020.
