{screwcap, 13.5%} Still inky dark ruby colour. Pure, intense nose of cabernet and cassis. Oak hardly noticeable on the nose. The palate is very tight indeed, savoury and dry, with grippy medium dusty tannins, black fruit and herbs and a seasoning of French oak. Medium weight. Feels very closed still, and even the finish struggles to offer much overt flavour, despite that it has an even presense along the tongue. Should have either been decanted, or not drunk at all yet. Wait a decade.

This was really really nice. I agree with graemeg - leave this another decade if you can.
