A little less vibrant in color than the 2013, and the nose here is not as showy either - you don't get that citric rush here, and the scent is more akin to faint rose petals.
Pretty tasty on the palate, though - not as chiseled as the '13, but more savory. Pretty interesting vintage variation, and this wine is clearly closer to the "end of the road", but still quite enjoyable today. MY recollection is that the last bottle I tried of this was somewhat oxidized, so there may be bottle variation at this point in it's development. Definitely in the "drink up" category.

Outstanding rose from magnum that had been in my cellar 5-yrs. Pibarnon does age, and I was happy with how this developed. Great depth to the honey, acacia, lemon and basil notes, but retained fresh strawberry and watermelon notes. Great as usual. My last bottle.
Helped us survive the oppressive heat wave of 4th of July.

A light blood orange color in the glass; citrus notes on the nose.
Bone dry, with decent acidity - I like this, but other tasters might find this too severe of a style. Probably on the decline but still enjoyable if you like the style.

Wild strawberry, red plum. Fresh acid. Nice balance and a little darker profile.
