Great intensity and a lovely mouthfeel, not cloying. There is subtle vanilla from oak here, providing body and a very nice backbone. On the front palate this is all almonds and honeysuckle along with lemon zest. Medium bodied, high acidity. Medium finish, straightforward. Drinking now, will ve amazing in 20 years!

13.5% ABV. Decanted for 30 minutes. Medium yellow gold. Orchard fruit, peach, quince, mango, lime, ginger, and stony minerality, with bright acidity, and a tight, backward finish. Medium- to full-bodied, with a lightly creamy texture. Very promising, but still young. Start drinking from 2026. 92(+)

Top notch Pinot Bianco and my first ever Cantina Terlano, might as well go straight to the top, with this much lauded Vorberg Riserva. Pop and pour, with brilliant tropical fruit aromas from mangos to some pineapple, and just a little guava briefly. A very delectable mouthfeel of lanolin and a touch of cream texture, with a savory dry stoney back palate and finish. The wine would evolve with food to reveal more nuanced lemon notes ranging from meyer lemon, lime, lemon zest, pickled / preserved salted lemons, and the tropical fruit notes then fade. As the wine sits in the glass long enough the lemon notes fade and reveal more mineral characters and something akin to the texture of confectionary sugars and light brioche but without the exacting aromas. For those that want more consistent fruit, top the glass off every now and then. Excellent with Italian style starters from vegetable platters to asparagus, and awesome with toasted focaccia with a good olive oil dip. A linguine with lemon and black pepper and some shellfish seals the deal for the pairing. The wine commands good food with it. Will see if I have the patience to cellar another bottle or two longer to study its evolution.
Tasted at Tre Bicchieri NYC. Always a nice wine this 100 Pinot Bianco always ages well, aged for 12 months is neutral oak. Bright acidity but a very plush texture. Fresh, long, complex. Citrus, pear and apple fruit. Needs some cellaring and aeration. Nicely balanced. Upside…

Really lovely wine. Strong profile of pineapple, peaches, green apple. Perfectly balanced acidity and minerality. There are reminders of a well made Southern Rhone. I only had 1 bottle but will look forward to picking up more and in other vintages. Great QPR!
