Pretty purple with a hint of browning. Not the deepest colour. Very lifted and pure nose---floral, red-fruited. Just medium weight on the palate. Moreish. Just not the most weighty, complex or possibly long-lived but it has so balance so I could well be proven wrong. (Only a middling length cork.)

A very yummy vintage port. Beautiful nose. Dark ruby/black color. The whole milk weight on your tongue makes anticipation almost unbearable. Flavors of chocolate, leather, black currant and rose pedal.. An elegant balanced port. Lovely. It went great with dark chocolate and a Portuguese Nada (egg tart).

Rich blackberry and earth on the nose. Palate: smooth plum and blackberry with a hint of fig. Surprisingly acidic on the tip of the tongue. Lovely port. Shared for at a 4th of July celebration with friends.

Black.
Huge nose, rich dark spicy fragrance.
Deeply intense, seamless, dark fruits, licorice, plums, tar spice, delicious.

Winefield's auction pre-sale tasting: A hint of cherries and currants, very sweet, riper than I expexted; a nice port, but not Taylor at its best.
