The very lightest whiff of TCA on the nose and it was actually drinkable, but after following for a few hours open and referring to my earlier note from a bottle with a generous bouquet I could tell this wasn't quite banging on all cylinders. Frustrating too, that it is not even a real cork so it happened somewhere else along the line.

Light to medium straw color, bright and clear. Generous nose of vanilla, hazelnut, and marshmallow that is backed up with brisk lime and seaspray. I really like the texture and weight of the palate, which is perfectly mature and ready after about an hour open to blow off a light bit of funkiness. Pretty special for the tariff and one of the most interesting and enjoyable New World Chardonnays that I've had in a long time. It has a finish that performs like a much higher priced wine. 4+11+18+8= 91

Grapefruit, lemon, mineral, a little honeydew, and a touch of oak on the nose. Very nice balance of fruit and acidity. Medium-full body. Just a hint of tannin. Medium-low oak with just a touch of butteriness. Medium complexity. Excellent overall. Great QPR.

Beautiful golden straw color. Rich but not overwhelming or over-oaked. Enough acid to give a clean, medium finish.
