I always like Mollydooker. Their wines have some kind of finesse that can't be found in any other Aussie wines. This bottle has been aged well, with right amount of oak, blackcurrant and truffle. A little bit on the sweet side.

This is too young to award 100p, but there's nothing holding it back. At 14 years of age, it still behaves like a newborn rascal…
Black-red colour. Aromas of dark-dark fruit, licorice, anise seeds, licorice and darkness. In the mouth the dichotomy of the superbly rich and dense body compared to the wine’s fabulous acids and elegant demeanor.
Wow!
This is indeed a copy of the blueprint of Grange Hermitage without the extreme extraction.
After double decanting, the level of the wine was still mid-neck.
Quite a specimen wine!

Massive! Deep purple; nearly black color. It provides a mouthful of cassis with black & blue berries, dark roast coffee, plus black pepper and Asian spices. It has some light vanilla notes with subtle oak and a 20 - 30 second finish. High alcohol but it's not too hot. Decanting was not necessary. I really wish I had more of this wine - it's so much fun!

Clear deep park red. Clean nose of black fruit and vanilla. Dry, med+ body, med acidity, soft tannins, big jammy wine even at 7 years, med+ finish. This is a big wine. Had this with chicken, but would have paired better with BBQ or a steak. This might not be a wine for everyone. It is an example of a big Aussie wine, but it still has lot going on and is very nicely made wine.

Very deicios with focused and pleasant flavors, but over-oaked that took from the wine.
