Crimson and quite transparent with medium legs. Nose is cherries, heat and earty undertones of cedar. Palate is more muted. Tar and tanins with a light mouth feel. Finish is mineral and tannic. Might improve with some more time on its side but there are better uses for the real estate. 5+11+15+6=87

Ruby-garnet; floral, cherry cough syrup, tar, truffles; dried sour cherry, dark chocolate, light-medium body, good acidity, firm tannins, decent finish. Appreciated flower and truffle aromas but not cough syrup. Flavour good although slightly bitter and light.

Nice aromas typical of Nebbiolo, a lot of cedar and floral notes. Decanted form about an hour, than poured back into the bottle. The taste was still quite strong, there was plenty of tannins and alcohol present. However this still went well with the steak. could use a few years to develop.
