  Based on this bottle, I'd guess this needs another 5 years. Should a Burlotto normale need 20+ years? Maybe, in 2006.

Young and barely evolved, but very delicious. I've never tasted Burlotto's normale before but I will be a buyer again. A couple of hours of air tames the chewiness a touch and brings out a gorgeously fine texture for a young Barolo. This is really a rockstar for a young normale.
  Day 2: raw, wet clay, sandalwood, amarena cherry. Just a hint of development at the edges.

  My first Burlotto Barolo and it was fantastic. Although it is the entry level Barolo, it had wonderful purity and balance with a long elegant finish. A terrific wine for the price.
