  • Caught this one near EOL... Nice ruby red in the glass with some haze of particulate. Complex nose of beet root, cedar, red cherries and the last traces of oak. Starts to fall apart in the mouth with s slight spritz of a decaying wine, moderately sharp acidity and a short finish. Probably better earlier in life but still quite nice. Back label notes the following: "This wine was bottled directly from an individual barrel of Elton Vineyard, personally selected by Martines' Wine"....
