  • Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; White and red Bordeaux (@ RW): Beautiful bouquet with vanilla, yellow fruits and mild citrus. On the palate citrus acidity, yellow fruits, beautiful acidity, mild bitterness, orange zest. Beautiful and harmonious wine.

  • Really beautiful wine, and it gives one pause, considering how many pretender N World wines are creeping up in price, this is the real deal for a fairly respectable price - medium to medium deep gold, beautiful creamy...complex, don't even know how to describe that, just pretty awesome, nose - creamy smooth yet with beautifully rounded acidity to support, certainly drinking quite youthfully at age 9. Long fresh finish that is complex, nuanced, really quite impressed by this

  • We enjoyed this very much with two courses: firstly a potage of asparagus with various herbs and croutons, and secondly some trout with almonds, garlic & parsley.

Although it is apparently primarily sauvignon blanc, the semillon is very much to the fore here. I double decanted the bottle before setting out for the restaurant and then we started drinking around 2 hours after opening.

The nose and the palate both show typical semillon characteristics; the palate is very smooth indeed, with quite complex fruit flavours, and just a touch of acidity to keep it all in balance.

It's a very nice wine now, though I'm not sure how much more potential it has for development.

  • From a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, the wine is fresh, lively and packed with lemon, lime, crisp grapefruit and vanilla notes. This proved to be a delicious, crisp, summer afternoon treat.
