My last bottle, also with a wax top. This was in fantastic shape! Really impressed with the length and depth on this bottling. Nicely developed and tasted like it had more life left in it, but not a strong reason to wait unless you have multiples, or want to roll the dice.

A shining village at 11 years of age...unfurling in the glass with very good concentration for its level, ripe yet juicy and mineral inflected (and very good) finish. Outstanding for a village !

Wax top. My first non-faulty Dauvissat and very impressed, this was so fresh and energetic for a 11 year old village wine. Probably the first time I actually got seashells on the nose of a Chablis, together with some honeysuckle notes. The stony yellow fruit and the acidity were perfectly integrated - the acidity was really something that was present throughout. From my limited experience, Raveneau is more about the texture whereas Dauvissat is more about the piercing citrus fruit which I found to be very enjoyable here. A wine that you just wanted to drink endlessly. A good bottle should last for many more years.
Yellow-gold. Preserved lemons. Wet stones. Minerals. Salty. Very good length and freshness. Very linear. Very lovely. This is nicely developed by now, but I suspect there is more to give. classic.

Wax top. Fantastic bouquet of familiar chablisiene aromas off the top. After a bit of air the palette gained weight and depth but perhaps didn’t quite match the expectations set by the first smell. Seems like this has more life left in it, but hard to say for sure. None the less a wonderful village wine.
