Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): Cedar, perfumed, red tending to black fruit and slight peppery spice notes…tartly juicy, spicy with quite drying tannins, lacks a little fruit on the palate. Hmm

Opened this last night and it was really funky and only managed one glass, but 24 hours later, what a difference. Made with single 10/5 Pinot clone Brilliantly clear ruby red, aromas, Spice driven fruit with a hint of toasty oak. Stewed rhubarb , cherries , plums Lovely sweet fruit on the mid palate. Savory finish with persistent length
