I was disappointed by this. Nose lacked focus (faint citrus and stone fruits). Much more impressive in the mouth - large wine with wax, but very 'grapey'. Seems a warmer style than Kumeu with less complexity. Mendoza clone on deep alluvial soil. Drink now-2020. 90pts

New Zealand / Australia Trip Dec 2014 / Jan 2015; 12/14/2014-1/8/2015 (Auckland, Martinborough, Christchurch, Sydney, Hunter Valley): They told us that these are the oldest ungrafted Chardonnay vines in New Zealand. 15% new oak, quite a subtle nose, good tension and good fruit, citrus, some mandarin with a little fresh nut to finish. (They said that the 2010 of this wine is drinking best right now)
