  Fantastic wine. Nose of cherries and earth. Palate is bright with acidity and pure, crackling red fruit. Tertiary notes are present, but not at the forefront. Medium bodied and oh so easy to drink. Long finish with still a bit of tannic bite. For me, this is in a perfect spot. Makes me really want to catch the first wine at the right moment, which I've not yet managed to do. Thrilled to have 5 more.

  Based on the reviews it makes me wonder if the 2 bottles we had were outliers. Not bad but not great. Some funk that blew off after a bit. In its secondary phase with the usual suspects being present but not memorable. Wouldn’t seek this vintage out again based on my experience but would love to try a younger version.
