  Was a little concerned based on previous reviews, as this is my first of 4, but thankfully this first one is drinking fine, and even a little youthful in its fruit, though there's really no tannin structure here, so I'm not sure what to say for its longevity.
  
  Anyway, medium ruby, still hinting a bit purplish, with transparency. Smells youthful, grapey, and slightly confectionary, black and blue fruit jam, violet, and graphite minerality. Medium body, acid, and finish, with blue, black, and dark red fruits, and a bit of mineral. New world in style and not terribly complex, but enjoyable enough for the style and certainly not cooked or tired for us tonight. 87-88

  30 minute decant. Medium ruby color. Stewed plums, blackberries, violets, but definitely seems like it's past prime. Too bad, because it was probably really good a couple years ago.

  Popped and poured with dinner. Pleasant nose. Good fruit on the palate although drops off fairly quickly with O2. Enjoyable. Decent QPR.

  Drank on day 2, and a touch grapey...fruit is ok...needs acidity. Decent for what it is
