  First time in my life to try the DRC-RC. Special occasion at blackberry farm with my wife Kelli, Ken Fredrickson and Andy Chabot among other esteemed guests. We popped cork and let sit for a bit. Aromatics were on point, vosne spices, rose petals and sweet cherry fruit. The best word was pulled by Andy and the word was “elegant”. Palate was ethereal with a silky mouth feel. Falvours very similar to the aromatics, coupled with a hint of cola and a minerality that percolated just below the surface of what was close to a perfect wine and for me it’s exactly what I look for in a red burgundy. A true reference for typicity. The finish was very persistent and if you set the glass down and walked away, you could smell the wine from 10 feet away. Great time and great to share this wine with a bunch of wonderful people. Highest recommendation and I am happy to have decided to “DRINK IT” !

  Har en helt annen finesse enn de to foregående vinene. Mye dypere og mangefasettert. Samtidig er den langt klarere.
  
  Rød frukt, krydder, overraskende lys og leken. Har den typiske DRC-stilken, men på en enda mer tiltalende og balansert måte enn RSV og Riche.
  
  Megaoverveldende i munn. Breier seg ut på en elegant måte. Frukten er konsentrert, men aldri tyngende. Flyvende teppe gjennom kurven. Sitter og sitter. Fine tanniner som kiler i finish.
  
  Stor vin. Men for meg var faktisk 13 Rousseau CSJ et hakk eller to over denne kvelden.

  醒酒3小时有余，香气里表现出一种平静的脉动，细腻清秀的玫瑰，仿若清晨招惹了雾气，滴作玫瑰露，又有些精油感，些许牡丹花，乃至飘摇出轻微的橙花，由花香构成了宽阔的镜湖，洗刷着红得通透的红樱桃、树莓和覆盆子之类的果味，向内静静汇聚着，后段还浮现出雪松、焚香、干薰衣草和大吉岭春摘茶的气味。在杯中同空气接触，慢慢花香会更加上扬，玫瑰化作图景，变得更为纯粹，克制的艳丽，像是隔着布满水珠的窗向外看去。雪松和檀香味显得更加明显，慢慢还会有轻微苹果和血橙的香气。
  
  
  
  口感中单宁量大，向中线汇集，将整个口感和结构都向内牵拉，但果味确实在平面向四周扩散开去，集中度高，颀长隽秀而有力，酸度高，力道浸润在酒体的展开中，轻盈而宽阔的红樱桃、酸樱桃、覆盆子和树莓之类的果味，细致精美，伴随和香气里一致的玫瑰花香，在中后段勾连着木质和麝香之类的风味，平静而从容，似有若无的微笑，一切都按照自己的规则行进，收尾悠长，带着轻微矿物感。随着醒酒，果味的基调似乎从水粉的渲染变成了有起伏的油画，红果变得越发甜美。到了5小时的时候，内里的酸樱桃、红樱桃似乎已然跃出，各种风味已经整合入内，后段到余味时，突然有一阵成熟水蜜桃的汁水，迸溅于玫瑰花丛，可谓点睛之笔。97/100

  My first experience of Romanée-Conti is quite incredible. The unique nose of violet, framed vosne spices, asian spices and the elegant while comple palate make it a truely standout singular wine.
