Grippy but smooth tannins supported by a backbone of acidity. Long presence and finish. Think i'll have to let my remaining bottles sleep for quite a few more years....

  VIEL zu jung!! Schlank (fast wie Giacosa). Aber noch Dominanz von Säure und Tanninen. In 5+ Jahren wieder versuchen.

  ROAGNA vs. BORGOGNA: Naso più intenso rispetto al Montefico 2009, e di profilo più sexy. Yogurt al lampone, glassato, glicerico e dolcioso. Poi la cera e l' incenso. La parte carnale del frutto è impreziosita da una vena minerale quasi amara. anche la parte balsamica e vegetale è presente, ma è schermata maggiormente dal frutto rispetto al Montefico 2009.
  Bocca acidula, tesa, ancora immatura e dinamizzata da una mineralità pulsante. Longevità e sviluppo futuro di grande auspicio, ma al momento è ovviamente più contratto rispetto al Montefico. 93-95

  UN GIOVEDI IN LANGA: Tasting at the domaine. A detta di Luca Roagna, l' Asili è l' unico cru che può avvicinarsi all' esplosione di aromi di un Pinot Noir della Cote de Nuits. Come non dargli ragione dopo l' anestesia nasale innescata da petali di fiori di ogni forma e colore, mentuccia e fragoline di bosco spremute. Poi la pesca gialla che ricorda l' ammiccare esotico del Monprivato di Mascarello.
  Dolcezza degli estratti e dei profumi del Griotte di Ponsot e dell' Asili di Giacosa. Il profilo femminile e sexy non abbandona mai la scorrevolezza del sorso, merito del rovere perfettamente integrato e del tannino al sale di finezza rara.
  Vino Lolita che porta alla mente il concetto del "proibito".... come odorare di nascosto un profumo dal collo di una bella donna.
