Ate this with baked chaumes. Definitely enjoyed this wine.
Similar to the previous note. Initially also hints of liquorice that dissipated with airing.
Excellent sour red fruit (strawberries, pomegranate, raspberries... not sweet and juicy but the tart side).Great backbone of minerality. Taut and non-fatiguing of the palate. As it opens, the dark and more luscious side teases out (still within reason).
The Gamay is showing itself from the less tangy side with a mellow touch. More Burgundy like with nice fruit and a hint of tertiary aromas.
