red with orange hues in the color. tar, smoke, spice, leather, dark fruit, brett, on the nose. bitter chocolate, smoke, blackcurrant, black pepper, mushroom, on the palate. still noticeable acid on this short finish.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of medicinal, eucalyptus and oak. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of black currant and almond. Silky texture with a medium finish - Our bottle was not dead. In fact we enjoyed it, especially after letting it breathe for over an hour. iLife my cabs at about 10-15 years but I will admit that this is probably past prime but still enjoyed on a nice fall afternoon on the veranda at our Wisconsin Resort.

Popped and poured. The sniffer picked up strong aromas of fresh cut red bell pepper and I mean strong and almost over powering. The red pepper thinned out with air time. Hints of cinnamon came through as well. The mouth was very earthy with subtle forrest floor and cigar box. No significant fruit to speak of though it paired nicely with the filet mignon.

Beautiful wine, with soft tannins and still a lot of jammy fruit and deep garnet colour throughout. A full mouth feel and lovely acidity.
