  A little bite still. Good and burly, probably even better in a few years.

  This wine has a lot of spice and black fruit. The tannins are medium to low and there is a tangy finish.

  Besides the Fortis, the Pine Ridge Howell Mountain (and/or Howell - Altas) are my absolute favorites. Decanted for a couple hours beforehand and it drank beautifully. Extremely well structured and balanced. Silky smooth.

  Love it.
  Big. Spicy. Full mouth. Fruit. Medium tannins.
  Prefer taste to the smell.
