From the winery. Quite balanced, rich, with just the right acidity, some depth and power. This is quite a well-rounded and expressive Chardonnay, somewhere between buttery and precise. I much preferred this to the more expensive single-vineyard expression I tasted alongside.

Tasted @ Martinelli: tons of oak and MLF, bit of lemon curd, meh. Typical. The base release Martinelli is not what you want - you want the good, mailing list exclusive stuff.

Christmas 2019 (my house)
On the avg side for wines tonight. Athe nose is Lemon up front. The palette is lemon peel with a brief apricot nut mid palette and more melon finish.
