A 65th Birthday Celebration (Schur House - Riverwoods IL): Small glass. Less power, more accessible and ripeness vs Charmes Dessus, this is very good now through the next 5 years.

Not in a great place at the moment, rounded and showing the alcohol. Disjointed. Day 2 it showed more but really didn't give me the quality level that should be had from this vineyard. We'll see where it goes, could be in a dumb phase the moment.

Probably a flawed bottle. Much darker than it should have been at this stage. No real backbone whatsoever. The next bottle from the batch was a bit better

Burgundy Dinner with Friends (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Nicely ripe with lots of orchard fruit and toasted hazelnut, with bright mineral textures getting evert more attention. Still a bit tight, so upside from here.
