Upon opening this was dominated by a good bit of pinot funk, which took a good while to diminish. I don't mind a bit of it, but this was pretty dominant. Aside from that, the wine was aromatically quite expressive, well balanced and presented a lengthy finish.

Last bottle from this vintage, still great. Consistent with prior notes. Drinks best after about 20 minutes, bright fruit, mineral and earth notes coming through. Should continue to drink at this level for another 3-5 years...

Very good. 1h decanter added a slight diluted weak finish to an otherwise fairly full-bodied Pinot. Almost drinks like a Cabernet. Thick red color for a pinot.

90 min double decant. Deep magenta color. Orange zest, dark raspberry, Tootsie Roll, and limestone on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with tongue coating acidity. Full, yet soft tannins on the medium long finish.

Funky for a Pinot, this was a fun wine, it had a French nose but a traditional palate of fresh strawberries, spring flowers, nice mineral backbone and a really lovely wine with food.
