Sappy, stemmy with fresh herbs, flowers, sauvage, a little woodsy, light bodied but mouth filling and tangy but with wonderful sweetness, very much in the aromatic, juicy, tangy vein, with a ‘bistro wine’ profile but it’s better than that sounds. Super tasty in a style reminiscent of Beaujolais.

A bit shy at first but eventually unfurls bright fruit covering the red spectrum with a sweet dried cranberry note and potpourri spice. Acidity is elevated and abundant elegant tannins linger through the finish.

Pours nicely light in the glass, vibrant ruby. The nose slowly reveals itself with a touch of reduction noted. Fresh cherries, dry soil, mixed herbs, and a touch of orange peel poke through on the primary nose. The palate is structured with very balanced medium acid and medium tannin. The finish is medium. This is showing a lot of the potential. 92 is conservative with some definitel upside.
