A pretty respectable level for a Bourgogne Rouge. Darker in style than I had expected, not giving much in terms of floral or ethereal notes. Initially after opening it was driven by fresh fruit, but as it opened up it showed more dry extract and darker tones. I reckon this needs another 2-3 years to hit its peak.
It reminds me a bit of Méo-Camuzet in style.

Wine Society Burgundy Grower's Tasting: Layered and serious. Savoury and earthy notes with dark red fruit. Nothing floral going on here. Sweet depth on a relatively delicate palate, silky with bright acidity. Complex. I respect it more than I like it!

PNP. I have had several bottles of this in the past few months and find it drinking very well, with nice bright red fruit and secondaries of forest floor. Sure it is a bit light, but for a Bourgogne I find it spot on and at release price was a good buy. Drink now. B+

Pnp. 89 p.

Quite heavy reduction. Darker fruited palate, but too light.
