  • PnP on this Saturday night. Color is purple/garnet. On the nose: Something very strange front and center : pickle juice, sour funky plums, cassis, pepper and cinnamon. The pickle juice and sour funky plums were blowing off after a few minutes. On the palate: Blackberries, cinnamon, pepper, plum, Christmas pudding/fig and pepper. The nose without time is not appealing, but the flavors are. This wine is young, good and quite promising. Put down at least 5 years. It’s actually quite good.
