Chalk and mineral on the nose, with light floral notes that become more prominent the longer it's open. Funky, mineral saline on the palate. Hard for me to get past the funky note on day one, but it lost much of that element on day two and paired quite nicely with melon and proscuitto.

Has typical GV character like wet stone, lime, grass, green onion, but this is muted and a little watery and doesn’t have the zesty acid or enough of the vegetal saltiness I want from the varietal. Fuller body than expected too, this is almost like GV crossed with new world Chardonnay. In a broader sense this is within the range of quality you’d expect for a $13 white, but you can get fairly good Gruner very cheap—I had a $12 liter bottle recently that I liked considerably better (from Reinhard Waldschütz)—which makes this poor qpr. If you want a wine that feels like cheap Chardonnay but with some greenish character then this may be for you but mostly I’d say pass on this. ~4.5-5/10

A little heavy for a GV. Pass on this one

Yellow/hay in color. Metallic on the nose. Low alcohol. Some fruit, maybe sour apple. Not much of a finish.
