Still impressed by this wine as tasted/noted back on Christmas Eve of 2022, with literally zero change. That said, not my "go-to" style of wine anymore (have been LOVING Oregon pinot noir for the past 9 or 10 yrs), but it is perfectly balanced and fully supports its 15.6%. 5 cases of assorted Andremily wines to judiciously enjoy over the coming years.

I know that a lot of people love this producer, but to me it tastes like a McLaren Vale Ooze Monster. Tons of heat and ripe fruits with zero finesse. Not my cup of tea, and joining the list was, for me, a very expensive misstep.
P & P. It seems that each Andremily that I drink is as good or better than the last. The caramelized nuttiness of this bottle reminded me of sipping on a Pappy. Just wonderful. Drink or hold.

Popped and poured through an aerator. This was special from the jump, with dark fruit, chocolate, pepper. An almost ethereal silkiness on the mouthfeel and a very long finish. Stunning. 97+
Double-recanted and served from the bottle. Amazing wine, such massive flavor and body! Blackberry and plum fruit, bacon fat, baking spices, oak, vanilla, and dark chocolate on the finish. Was loved by all, and happy I still have another bottle. This is definitely still young, so looking forward to seeing how it is in 3-5 years. Drink now with air - 2037.
