Early mature, slight bricking but purple core. Lovely classic Pessac, rust, iron and woody herbs. This is a delicious mature, reasonably priced Bordeaux.

Yes, cigar box all over the place, and plenty of tannins turning to dust that leave a finish in the front palate. But c'mon folks ... this is not a 90 point wine! It has the qualities of an OK wine from a Not-Very-OK year. In other words, missing the fruit in both the front and the finish, that make it delectable.

Well rounded wine with main notes of leather and smoke.

Silky mouthfeel with cigar, herbs, and cedar. This bottle aged well, though it's on the decline.
