I really love this newly discovered grower. Expressive yeasty nose here jumping from the glass. Floral, some apples, cinnamon. Rich palate despite zero dosage. A top notch pure Meunier Champagne. I see the quality here on par with Chartogne-Taillet's Les Barres.

Lovely bottle of 100% Meunier...this is my 2nd of 4 bottles...last had a bottle 2.5 yrs ago. Aging nicely, this showed slightly richer orchard fruits, with some citrusy backbone, nice acidity and chalky minerals. The finish is delicious apples, pears, and lemon juice. Drink through 2025 or so.

100% meunier; 0g dosage; d/g May 21. Wonderful pale copper colour. It smells spectacular, like the most wonderfully appointed cake trolley, positively groaning with croissants aux amandes, lemon meringue pies and raspberry delices. The palate is broad and fully flavoured with shortbread and cinnamon. Texturally very fine, it has a vigorous, persistent mousse and a strict acidic spine with some Selosse-esque salty oxidation notes creeping in. This is all very tightly wound and would benefit from 5 years in the cellar.

Not as wonderful as my last bottle, but still excellent. Quite a pink hue... almost like a rose. Creamy pastry notes, but a nice chalky, sharply lifted finish.
