Entering into its drinking window now. Really enjoyable at this point but still has time to evolve.
(4/21/2021) Of medium color and intensity for a Brunello. Definitely of the new (rather than traditional) style, emphasizing the use of smaller, newer barrels rather than larger, older casks. Splintery oak is apparent, along with the classic cherry fruit associated with sangiovese. Because of its higher acidity than many Brunellos, it's somewhat more like a riserva Chianti (albeit an excellent one) than a traditional Brunello. Needs time to fully integrate.

Double decanted and enjoyed this with pasta. Balanced, silky tannins.

Not bad for a daily drinking well. Drinking well now. Taste light on the body with notes of red and black fruits. Drink up now, will not improve.
