This not a great Brunello. It does need about four hours to open before serving. It is serviceable after opening up. Anything less than four hours it tastes like a cheap Chianti.

Really disappointing given what I heard about this. Not bad, but certainly not worth over $40. A decent basic sangiovese, nothing more.

This bottle seemed a little disorganized vs the last time I had it. cherry, earthy notes, leather, tobacco, raspberry, dried herbs

Very alive with beautiful acidity, showing well already but still a bit tightly-wound. I seem to like this producer across vintages.
