More heat on the nose than palate, perhaps ever so slightly damaged. Bruised red fruit, sweet, lightly meaty, notable heat on finish. Better cut in angularity than the regular 03 1er cru. 91

Served blind. No way to guess the vintage, superb acidity with balanced sweetness. Most guessed Gevrey, less meaty but quite orange-like, similar to younger Fourrier. 92

Sweet, overripe, with air becoming firm and meaty. 92

Bryant's Send Off Party (Noreetuh): One of the better bottles. Still young, woody, compact jammy sweet like sugar-coated hawthorns. 91
