Fabulous wine. Only the 2nd vintage under the Myriad label. Its a major winner. The cork was very soft and crumbly, which had me worried. The wine was perfectly intact though. Dark purple color. Nose and taste of dark Berry cobbler. Ripe blackberry currant, and blueberry on top of vailla pie crust. It finishes with a richness and lingering chalky tannins. Really delicious and hardly showing its 15 years of age.

Decanted 1 hour. This wine was consistent with other Myriad that I have had. Rich full fruit, full of flavor and spice. There is significant oak that is mostly integrated. The spice dominates the finish. Overall, big and modern.

Prune and camphor on the nose. On the palate, prune and blackberry with notes of black pepper and cocoa. This opens up over three or four hours, with some red fruit coming through over moderate tannins and good acidity. Excellent, but only average value at a bit under $70.

Camphor and a hint of prune on the nose. On the palate, blackberry and currants with savory notes of lemon citrus and cocoa; some silky tannins show up on the medium finish, with nicely balanced fruit and acidity. Excellent and ready to drink, but at the price it's not a bargain.
