Not much character, period. Fruit much more muted than a typical Myriad Cab. Decanted for 3 hours, usually more than enough. Very concerned about these '07s!

Had after thanksgiving dinner, slow-ox for 1 hour...simply beautiful as all Mike Smith cabs I have had. Bordeaux style (Spring Mountain) with a smooth palate and phenomenal finish. Drank by itself but would pair well with dark meat. Just amazingly elegant at a somewhat youthful age. Definitely can cellar longer.

Still drinking very young despite and hour decant this is a serious cab with huge upside. This wine has evolved very little since my last bottle two years ago. I won't drink my next bottle for two years at least. It has plenty of fruit to balance the aggressive tannins Should improve over the coming 2-3 years and hold another five years after that. Don't drink this wine without food.

(A-) Beautiful plum color. The nose is huge, with tons of red fruit. Definitely a floral element, along with background of wood. Just beautiful on the palate, with a two minute finish. Dominated a lineup of some pretty darn good wines. Still time to age, but can be enjoyed now.

Drinking Nicky with a relatively short decant. Typically good fruit for a Mike Smith. See this lasting longer than other '07s.
