- Brick color and has flavours of prune, raisin, fig, dusty and tobacco with a medium/full body - Decanted about an hour. Wonderful aroma of dried fruits, figs, raisins. Huge mouth-feel. Deep brown/black ruby color stuck to the glass. Wonderful, thick, chewey. Wish I had many more but this is the only one of it's kind in the cellar.

Ruby red. Barnyard on the nose. Really horsey, bretty and barnyard with brassy ripe cherries and plums. Peppery finish and nice framing acidity. Tannins almost non-existant. This is more in the Beaucastel style than any other Chateauneuf I've had. I'm guessing there is mourvedre here. I highly recommend this for those who like this style of wine (as I do).
