At first this smelled like dog poop on the sole of a new tennis shoe. That kinda blows off and there is some cherry coming out. Flavors of tar and cranberry juice, which seem to drop off quickly. Tastes manufactured. ($10)

Needed a bunch of air to get rid of the alcohol dominated somewhat one-dimensional oaky-spicy-hot flavor right out of the bottle. It had a spicy, tart cherry juice flavor that began to develop quickly with air but never turned into a great Pinot. Day2. Disappointed that it didn't blossom into a more fruit driven wine. Still tastes very alcoholic (had to look at the bottle. It is 14% but I expected to see 16.5%) and oak driven with a weak mid palate. This isn't a terrible wine for $10 and keeping that in perspective, I would give it an 86-87. I'm going to let my other bottles age for a year and try one again.

Very earthy with a medium body. Nice food wine. Solid value.

Lots of smell of berry and medium color. Fresh and thirst quenching cold climate pinot. Uncomplicated with super drinkabilty. Very good QPR.

Smells like oak, tastes like oak. But what's behind that is interesting enough not to completely demonize it. But I would not choose this again.
